Patient, Resource Scheduling Software Systems
The InsightCS® Patient and Resource Scheduling software system features a unique "drag-n-drop" user interface and functions as the “coordinator” for patients and resources to promote effective and timely scheduling of services and procedures across the enterprise. All necessary information is shared throughout multiple locations and departments including clinics, ancillary locations, and other caregiver facilities.
Every resource, including providers, rooms, equipment, supplies, etc., is supported within the scheduling module addressing all enterprise needs. The module facilitates centralized and departmentalized requirements by taking available information about the service/procedure and resources, and performs a search that returns a range of time slots base upon availability.
Conflict checking is performed at time of scheduling and interacts with the user to offer options for other alternatives. The module includes a wide variety of online views of important schedules for providers, resources, clinics, departments and a host of others; and is integrated with a number of other InsightCS® modules including Registration and Document Management.
Medical Necessity Checking, a very important compliance requirement, is also optionally available with InsightCS® Scheduling.
